Rehab Treatment in Rutland

Rehab can turn your life around and help you regain control. Choosing to get help for your addiction is an important decision; luckily, there are several drug and alcohol treatment centres in Rutland that can treat a range of addictions. For instance, treatment centres address alcoholism, addiction to prescription drugs, stimulants, heroin, and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder.

Getting help for addiction typically begins by facing up to your condition and acknowledging the need for assistance. Rehabilitation treatment provides medical support to break free from a physical addiction and to cope with the other effects of substance abuse. Treatment also comprises counselling and various therapy methods to determine the root causes of addiction. The ultimate aim is to ‘get clean’ and achieve lifelong abstinence.

    NHS Addiction Treatment

Getting medical care to quit drug abuse and dependence doesn’t have to be expensive. In Rutland, you can find a rehab centre that offers effective low-cost alternatives or one that accepts insurance cover (such as NHS or private insurance) as a way of payment. You’ll need to talk to your GP, who can make recommendations for addiction treatment; they come at no cost.

Detox: NHS clinics and hospitals offer detox programmes, which last for five to seven days. During detox, all substances and toxins are removed from your body, as you learn to get used to life without drugs.

Outpatient treatment: Several NHS facilities within Rutland (and further afield) offer outpatient programmes that you can visit during the day. Some of the methods used during outpatient treatment involve group and individual counselling, as well as medication treatment.

Support Groups: These groups come highly recommended by the NHS and can be helpful either during or after your initial treatment. Relating to others going through the same experiences can provide valuable strength and support. Accountability is also another benefit of support groups, as this can positively contribute to relapse prevention.

Charities: The NHS also recommends a number of drug addiction charities; these provide group therapy, counselling and a range of other services.

How to Choose a Recovery Programme

Rehab centres offer various types of recovery programmes for treating addiction. These provide the opportunity to learn stress management, healthy boundaries and coping skills that can increase your chances of long-lasting recovery. Addiction is a crippling disease that leads to severe physical and psychological effects, which is why special care should be taken when choosing a recovery programme to ensure it can meet your individual needs. This can be overwhelming, because of the large number of drug and alcohol addiction recovery programmes available, but professional addiction counsellors can help you find the most suitable recovery programme in Rutland for you.

In some cases, it can be helpful to relocate for your addiction treatment programme. Travelling out of your local community can help you focus more on yourself and your recovery, making the treatment process more effective. A recovery programme that’s far away from your current environment might be just what you need. If you’re looking to move closer to Rutland for treatment, there are reputable rehab centres close by that can offer a safe and serene environment, where you can begin your recovery programme away from potential temptations and triggers.

How Can I Get To and From Rutland

By car:If you're coming to Banbury from Rutland, your best choice would be to come via the A361 or via the A43. Although taking the M40 would take you about the same time, it is a longer route overall. If you're using the A43, keep in mind to leave the main road at the exit for B4525, from there you can reach Concord Ave/A4260 from where you can take Cherwell Dr until your final destination in The Hawthorns. Banbury Academy and the Easington Post Office are closeby.

By train:If you're coming from Oakham to Banbury, then you will probably take the CrossCountry train for Birmingham New Street and switch to the Bournemouth via Coventry train from there. In this case, the standard trip time is just over three hours. The walk from Banbury Station to the clinic is about 25-minutes-walk, so we advise you to consider a cab.

By bus:There is no direct route from Oakham to Banbury when it comes to bus services. The best option would be changing between three busses (48 gold towards Coventry, National Express towards Stratford-upon-Avon and the National Express 319 towards Oxford) and a train CrossCountry towards Birmingham New Street(), which will take you to Banbury Bus Station in more than four hours.
