Our Rehab Network

Banbury Lodge is part of UKAT (UK Addiction Treatment Group), one of the UK’s most established residential treatment networks. UKAT has been providing specialist addiction and mental health treatment for over 12 years, with clinics across England that treat alcohol addiction, drug addiction, eating disorders, and behavioural conditions.

Being part of a network brings a great advantage to getting the right treatment, as it means that if Banbury Lodge is not the right fit for your specific needs, or if a particular clinic in the network is better placed to help, we can find that out during the admissions process and make sure you go to the right place. Every UKAT clinic uniformly shares the same clinical standards and the same commitment to person-centred, evidence-based care.

It also means that aftercare and alumni support are not limited to the clinic where you received treatment. The UKAT Alumni Network connects graduates across all the clinics, giving you access to a much wider community of people in recovery.

Why network membership matters for your recovery

Addiction is not a condition that follows a single, predictable path. Some people need a shorter stay, where others need an extended programme. Individuals may even arrive with co-occurring mental health conditions that require specialist input or others may need a clinic within a specific region. The UKAT network means there is a real range of options, and the admissions process is designed to find the right one for you, not just fill a bed at the nearest clinic.

At Banbury Lodge specifically, we offer extended care pathways planning alongside our core 90-day programme. If your situation calls for something different, we will tell you, and we will help you find it within the network.

What every UKAT clinic offers

Across the network, every UKAT clinic provides residential inpatient treatment in a CQC-regulated environment. Common features include:

Individual clinics have their own specialisms and programme designs. Banbury Lodge, for example, is one of the few clinics in the network certified to treat eating disorders and one of the few to treat young people aged 16 to 18 alongside adults.

The UKAT Alumni Network

Leaving treatment is not the end of the support you receive with us. When you leave Banbury Lodge or any UKAT clinic, you become part of the UKAT Alumni Network. This is a community of people who have been through residential treatment and are committed to their ongoing recovery.

The Alumni Network includes message groups, phone calls, regular events, and exclusive resources. The connections people make here can become long-lasting friendships and a genuine support structure for the months and years after treatment. For many graduates, the alumni community is one of the most valuable parts of the whole experience.

At Banbury Lodge, aftercare also includes up to a year of free weekly group therapy sessions for all graduates. Staying connected to a therapeutic group in the months after discharge significantly reduces the risk of relapse, and we want to make sure that support is available regardless of how long someone spent in residential treatment.

Rehab is not the end of social life!

One concern people sometimes have about residential rehab is that getting sober means giving something up socially. The UKAT network is built around cultivating social aspects within your new routine. When you leave treatment, you enter into a sober living network where events, connections, and community are all part of the picture. Recovery does not have to mean isolation.

How to find the right clinic for you

The right clinic depends on your specific situation, your location, your treatment needs, and sometimes your insurance arrangements. The best way to find out which UKAT clinic is the right fit is to call our admissions team. We will ask the necessary questions, be honest about what each option offers, and make sure you end up in the place best suited to your recovery.

If Banbury Lodge is the right place for you, we will be clear about that and guide you through exactly what to expect. If another clinic within the network would better support your needs, we will let you know.
