Why choose Banbury Lodge?
Here at Banbury Lodge, we are dedicated to our client’s health and well-being, working with each of them to facilitate a safe and successful rehabilitation. Offering far more than just detox, we provide a holistic approach to healing, supporting our clients as they work through their mental, physical, and spiritual needs collectively. This way, they can leave the doors of our centre confident that they have the tools they need to transition back to their daily lives.
Some of the benefits that come from recovering with Banbury Lodge include:
A wonderful team
Our Banbury Lodge family has specialist knowledge and expertise across all facets of addiction. We work hard to maintain this through continued training, ensuring that our clients will always receive the most effective, up-to-date care.
Most of our staff are in recovery themselves, serving as an excellent reminder that rehabilitation is possible and using first-hand experience to support clients through the recovery process. From other residents to counsellors and support staff, most of those you meet at our clinic will understand what it’s like to be in your shoes.
Here at Banbury Lodge, we are a CQC-approved rehabilitation clinic for alcohol and drug addiction. We are also fully qualified to treat eating disorders and process addictions such as gambling and online gaming. Our priority is offering you the therapies and tools to comfortably work through recovery; we take a person-centric approach, meaning that the therapy we deliver incorporates all aspects of the body, mind, and soul.
Rehab for young people
At Banbury Lodge, we understand just how difficult it can be to witness a family member or friend fall into the clutches of dependence. If they are still young, this can make it especially difficult to support their needs or find them the right professional guidance to bring them to the other side of their illness. We are proud to state that Banbury Lodge is one of the only rehab centres in the UK registered to treat drug addiction, alcoholism, and eating disorders in young people aged sixteen to eighteen years old. With comprehensive treatment designed especially for the younger demographic, we are confident in the quality of our care.
We understand just how tough it can be leaving rehab, returning to all the triggers and temptations that can make newfound sobriety so difficult. However, Banbury Lodge is part of the UKAT group, a branch of rehabilitation centres that has an excellent strategy to keep clients connected. With UKAT Alumni, all past clients have access to one of the largest recovery communities in the UK, with access to a private Facebook group, regular events and companionship from those in a similar position. We believe that this is the future of permanent recovery, and we are proud to be the first rehab family in the UK to offer it. Many people fear that giving up a dependency means losing their lives. At Banbury Lodge, we say that it is only just the beginning.
Leaving rehab and having to face the reality of day-to-day life can feel extremely daunting. While you may be determined to continue living a clean and sober life, external triggers and temptations exist and dealing with these alone can leave you feeling isolated. We know that there might be issues within your family that could be the catalyst for your addictive behaviour; as such, it is vital that these issues are addressed. To support you during this time, we offer family therapy, an excellent tool to strengthen vital bonds as you move forward on the road to rehabilitation.
At Banbury Lodge, we provide one year’s free aftercare support sessions every week for our clients to benefit from. Here, you will engage with a group-based therapeutic approach, with the opportunity to discuss any fears or concerns you might be having post-rehab.
Banbury Lodge is situated amongst the breathtaking Oxfordshire countryside.
