You may be wondering what makes Banbury Lodge a good choice when it comes to helping you overcome your illness. There are actually a number of reasons we are a good fit for you. What you should know though is that your wellbeing is our number one priority. We will do everything in our power to ensure your comfort and safety during your time with us and our state-of-the-art clinic has been designed to assist with this. We have made sure that our facility is one that you will be completely comfortable with on every level and, as well as this, our fully trained staff members are passionate about making sure you are fully supported at all times.
The people who work at Banbury Lodge all have one thing in common: a burning desire to help patients achieve long-term sobriety. You can rest assured that our team of doctors, counsellors, therapists, and support staff have all been fully trained and have the credentials and qualifications to provide first-class care to you.
In addition to training and qualifications, our team has specialist knowledge and expertise in all types of addictions and mental health conditions. We work hard to maintain this knowledge with continuous training, which ensures that our clients always receive the most up-to-date and relevant care.
What you might be interested to know is that many of the staff at Banbury Lodge have their own personal experiences with addiction and recovery. These individuals know exactly how you are feeling because they have been where you are now. This makes them the perfect people to relate to you and to help you as they have the first-hand experience of addiction recovery and are living proof that it works.
Many of our clients find this refreshing because they know that they have something in common with almost everyone they come across within our clinic. From other patients to counsellors and support staff, most of those you meet in our clinic will be able to empathise with you and offer you support and guidance to ensure you reach your goals.
We understand that addiction is a family illness and that others within your family unit are also suffering. While our priority will be helping you to get well, we want your family to be involved in the process as we know how important this is in terms of your return to independent, sober living.
Family therapy is about helping you and your family to overcome your illness together, but there is more to it than that. We know that there might be issues within your family that could be the catalyst for your addictive behaviour; as such, it is vital that these issues are addressed. If this is something that is neglected, these issues can have a negative impact on your recovery going forward.
Our family recovery programme is second-to-none because our team work hard to ensure that each of your family members gets the help and support required to move on to a new and healthier life together.
The idea of rehabilitation may be frightening for you, particularly if you have no experience of rehab. We understand this and will do everything we can to make the process easier. We will provide information prior to your admission about all aspects of our clinic and of life here. If you want a tour of the facility, this is something we can easily arrange for you.
We also have a dedicated counsellor who will speak with you prior to admission, meeting with you when you arrive to help you settle in and to answer any queries you may have. This will ease any fears that you or your family members might have, we want you to feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.
We believe in a whole-person approach to recovery. Rather than treating just the illness, we aim to treat your mind, body, and spirit as we know that this is the best way to help you recover fully. Every staff member at Banbury Lodge is passionate about your recovery and will guide you through the processes to ensure that permanent sobriety is achieved.
We will work hard for you, but we expect you to commit to the programme and work hard too. We cannot recover for you, no matter how much we might want to. But you should know that no matter how severe your illness, or how much you might believe you are beyond help, we can get you to where you want to be – living a substance-free life with your loved ones.
As well as being there for you every step of the way, we will work closely with your family members to ensure that anger and resentment issues do not fester. We know that there are many complex issues involved with addiction and we will provide our full support to help you and your family members move forward to a happier and healthier life together.
Our clinic is staffed around-the-clock by a passionate and dedicated team who are here for you when you need them. This continuous care and support will provide comfort, and you should rest assured that whatever time of the day or night you need help, you can access it without question.
We make sure that you can talk to a fully trained, experienced staff member when you need to. It matters not if you wake during the night and want someone to talk to; you will find a staff member who is eager to assist. This will give both you and your loved one’s peace of mind that you will never be alone at Banbury Lodge.
The days of treating everyone with addiction, in the same way, are, thankfully, long gone. These days it is common for individualised treatment plans to be created around your requirements. At Banbury Lodge, we work closely with you to make sure that all your needs and circumstances are taken into account when creating a plan of treatment for you.
We use a combination of traditional talking therapies with holistic treatments to help you get the most from your recovery. With bespoke treatment plans, we have complete confidence in our ability to help you achieve permanent sobriety. We will develop a plan that we know is going to be the most effective for you. Should any element of the plan not work as expected though, we can quickly substitute it for a different treatment to maximise the results you achieve in recovery.
Your treatment plan will be unique to you and may contain elements of group therapy, individual counselling, 12-step work, and therapies that are designed to heal your mind, body, and spirit such as mindfulness, meditation, and tai chi.
We offer a variety of treatments to ensure that you get the most from your recovery programme with us. Your schedule of treatment will be full, and you will have very little time to dwell on the past. Each day will be filled to maximise your time with us.
You will take part in individual counselling sessions as well as group therapy discussions, lectures, workshops, and seminars. This time-consuming approach will immerse you in recovery and will provide you with the skills you need on your return to normal everyday life. You will be encouraged to interact with other patients and will have set meal times as well as some time for relaxation and reflection.
If you are ready to get started with one of our treatment programmes, please get in touch with us today. One of our friendly advisors will take your call and provide a full assessment as well as information on what the next steps on the recovery journey are.
